Casa d’Ambra Ischia Bianco 2022

The winemakers of this volcanic island are referred to as angeli matti – crazy angels – due to the extreme conditions they face in growing and harvesting grapes on the steep, rocky terraces. Famed since Roman times, this classic southern white offers zingy lemon character and a certain salinity, making it a natural accompaniment to all seafood dishes. History has it that the label was hand drawn by the famed filmmaker and director, Lucio Visconti, with inspiration from the crested logo of Moet & Chandon.
