Foradori Manzoni Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomite IGT "Fontanasanta" 2022

Manzoni Bianco is grape crossing, created in the 1930s by Professor Luigi Manzoni, using Riesling and arguably Chardonnay. It is a slightly aromatic, fresh tasting wine with distinctive floral (in particular geranium), spicy notes and a lovely beeswax flavour and texture. It ages very well, revealing itself in full at least 2 years after vintage.

The grapes are biodynamically grown by landmark Trentino producer Foradori in their 5 Ha Fontanasanta vineyard. The wine is fermented in cement tanks with short skin contact and then aged in old acacia wood barrels for 7 months.
