The original cooperative founded in the 1960s was purchased in 2018 by the Piccini family, now one of the largest producers of Tuscany. The fruit for this wine is sourced from 30 local wine growers in the vicinity of San Gimignano. This warmer area yields a generous, fruit driven Chianti with its typical fragrance of fruit and spice. On the palate it bursts with dark cherries and herbs, giving way to a refreshing finish.
