Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is one of Italy's most distinctive rosé styles. The name Cerasuolo means "cherry-coloured", a reference to the wine's distinctive deep pink hue. Made exclusively from Montepulciano, it is more structured and characterful than many pale rosés, combining generous fruit with freshness and making it one of Italy's great food wines.
Jasci & Marchesani has been farming organically since the 1970s and is recognised as one of Italy's pioneers of certified organic viticulture. Located between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains, the estate combines sustainable farming with modern winemaking to produce wines that are both expressive and true to their origins.
Delicately floral with vibrant aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and red berries, the palate is fresh, soft and beautifully balanced. Gentle acidity and a savoury finish make this a wonderfully versatile rosé, equally at home with seafood, charcuterie, pizza or simply enjoyed well chilled on a warm afternoon.
