Fattoria San Lorenzo "di Vera" Rosato 2023
From the organically farmed hills around Ostra in the Marche, Di Vera is a distinctive rosato from Natalino Crognaletti’s small, characterful estate, Fattoria San Lorenzo. The wine is named in honour of Natalino’s mother Vera and comes from the Loretello vineyard at around 250 m elevation, where sandy soils and cool exposures help preserve freshness. The estate works organically and bottles the wine with minimal intervention.
The blend combines Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Lacrima, varieties typical of the Adriatic side of central Italy. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement and aged for around twelve months on its lees, the wine is bottled unfiltered, preserving texture and natural character.
Fresh and savoury in style, Di Vera shows delicate aromas reminiscent of rose petals with subtle red berry notes. The palate is lively and saline, with good volume through the middle and a crisp, refreshing finish

Grapes:
50% Sangiovese, 30% Montepulciano, 20% Lacrima di Mora di Alba
