Valdibella Nero d’Avola Kerasos 2021

Grown on the former site of a 16^th century Jesuit monastery famed for its wine and produce, the Valdibella Cooperative continues the noble work of the ancient monks by providing a livelihood to recovering drug addicts. Kerasos is Greek for ‘cherry’ and an apt name for this delicious fruit driven wine, the aroma, flavour and freshness of which are influenced by the cooling breezes and temperature fluctuation of this hilly high plane in western Sicily.
